CCL Label (Ashford) Ltd is firmly committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all employees, customers, contractors, visitors and members of the public.

Senior Management has reviewed current Health & Safety Legislation when considering their responsibilities and setting the Company’s Health and Safety Policy objectives.
 
CCL Label (Ashford) Ltdwill ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees.  This policy document explains in broad terms, what must be done by everyone within the company to achieve these objectives. The aim is to provide a sound basis for co-operation between management and employees and to encourage continuous improvement to our Health and Safety.
 
CCL Label (Ashford) Ltd will concentrate on the elimination of risks to persons, as a first priority, then on risk reduction, prevention of injury and loss due to damage.

Changes in procedures and working practices involving Health and Safety will only be carried out after consultation with the relevant personnel.

CCL Label (Ashford) Ltd will encourage working to safety standards, which satisfy statutory requirements and reflect good industry working practices.

CCL Label (Ashord) Ltd will ensure that our employees are trained to understand and carry out their jobs safely by providing regular training, re-training, support and continuous assessment of employee performance.

Any equipment or training resource needed to meet the standard will be provided, and all employees will be made aware of this policy and their requirements to fulfil its directives.

CCL Label (Ashford) UK will ensure that this Policy is reviewed at least annually and that the workplace is regularly audited to ensure both compliance with the Policy and the effectiveness thereof.

A detailed Health & Safety Policy is in circulation, the contents of which are supplemented by regular refresher training that all employees are required to attend. Assessments carried out after the training confirm that employees have achieved the required standard. Feedback from the collected assessments is used to develop and improve our in-house training capability.
